DAY 1

DAY 2
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Meeting at the lobby of the hotel.
- Baku City tour - You will be met by our guide at your hotel to begin Old city tour in Baku, the capital and commercial hub of Azerbaijan. Start your walking in Icheri Sheher – the old part of the city. Old city tour will begin from “Qala Qapilari”.
- Visit Shirvan Shahs’ Palace, Caravanserai, and market square with numerous art studios and souvenir stalls. The last residence of Shirvan’s rulers, the medieval Palace of Shirvanshahs is located at the highest point of Icherisheher. The Palace complex impresses visitors with its architectural harmony and completeness.
- Visiting to Maiden Tower. The ancient monuments of Icherisheher are all cloaked in legends. Here stands one of the main symbol of Baku – the majestic and impregnable Maiden Tower (8th – 7th centuries B.C.) in the walls of the ancient fortress. For many centuries The Maiden Tower has been the most prominent piece of the Baku panorama.
- Visiting to Baku Museum of Miniature Books-is the only museum of miniature books in the world, settled in the old part of Baku, called Inner City. The museum started its operation on April 2, 2002.
- Stop for lunch. (by extra payment)
- Continue to the Memory Alley Shehidler Khiyabany that opens up a great panoramic view of Baku city. Further, you will explore 19-20th century’s architecture: Nizami Street, Fountain Square, Freedom Square. You will see the collection of Azerbaijani carpets in Carpet Museum.
- Visiting Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center
- Drive to the Upland Park

DAY 3

- Drive to Surakhani village. The spread of Zoroastrianism in the territory of the modern Azerbaijan was due to spontaneously flammable sources of oil and gas. Therefore, in this area such a monument as the temple Ateshgah has survived.
- Excursion to Ateshgah. Fire Temple Ateshgah (literally Fire House) is located in 30 kilometers from the center of Baku, in the south-eastern outskirts of the Absheron Peninsula.
- Excursion to Yanardag. Next to this small village in the Absheron peninsula Mount Yanardagh is situated. The word "Yanar" in Azeri language means "burning", and "Dagh" - "mountain". And this is real a burning mountain - not metaphorically, but literally. Once in Absheron it had been a lot of places where natural gas coming out from the earth to the surface ignited spontaneously, but with the start of mass extraction of oil and gas in Absheron these places started to disappear.

- Excursion to the ancient fortress of Mardakan.

DAY 4

- Visit the Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Lanscape. Gobustan one of the most ancient human settlements in the world. Primitive people depicted the art on stones thousands years ago. Gobustan is very rich in archaeological monuments. The reserve has more than 6,000 rock engravings dating back between 5,000 – 40,000 years. The site also features the remains of inhabited caves, settlements and burials, all reflecting an intensive human use by the inhabitants of the area during the wet period that followed the last Ice Age, from the Upper Paleolithic to the Middle Ages.
